"telefono" ist the clarinet piece out of my "extended melodies for solo instruments". It thematizes a telefon-number and the melody, which derives from it. Seven miniatures use cells of the melody and tell a story in remembrance of the form of the "entwickelnde Variation". Narration is created out of time-islands, that start to turn in the end.
